This is a fantastic opportunity for a Transactional Finance Manager to have control over the end-to-end finance operation, overseeing a small team and being a key member of the SLT.
Having been down to the office and met the team I can say with confidence you will have the best support system in place for anything needed. They operate a strict ‘just ask’ policy and encourage anyone to raise if they feel a process could be improved or even just to say ‘I need some extra help with this’ – whatever you need they will accommodate. The structure isn’t hierarchal, everyone mucks in regardless of their title so its fair to say the dynamic around the office is one of TEAMWORK.
In terms of your role, your duties will be varied and ranging; you’ll oversee the AP/AR function, you’ll be involved in cashflow forecasting, gain exposure to invoice discounting and be encouraged to implement your own working style – if you think a procedure, process or system could be improved / streamlined raise it! Again, this is all about making the role your own, there’s no egos here, if you think something could be change and you can put forward a good reason why, then the FC will be all ears to your ideas. Its somewhere you could work and know your voice will be heard.
