Are you an experienced Accounts Senior ready to step away from the day-to-day accounts production and take on a more strategic, leadership-focused role?

We’re looking for an ambitious individual to oversee a high performing year end accounts team; alongside driving the growth and direction of the department.

You will work closely with the Directors and Senior Management Team on shaping the growth of the team, making this a brilliant opportunity to broaden your experience at a senior level, and get in at ‘just the right time’ as the firm goes through its next phase of growth.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Leading, mentoring, and developing a team of 5 year end accountants

Contributing to strategic decisions that guide the department’s growth

Collaborating closely with directors on key projects and initiatives

Shifting focus from routine accounts prep to leadership, planning, and innovation

Allocating work and reviewing completed work from the team

Operating as a sound board for the more complex queries

Recruiting additional staff to facilitate growth

About You:

Ideally ACA / ACCA qualified (non-qualified and QBE’s are being considered)

Must have previous experience in practice

Keen to step into a leadership and management role

You might be from a contractor accounting background ready for a broader remit, or already working across a diverse client base

Passionate about mentoring, driving change, and playing a strategic role in a growing firm
