A rapidly expanding business in Altrincham is looking for a Management Accountant ready to step into a high-impact role with real ownership, leadership responsibility, and a fast-track path to senior finance.
With turnover now at Β£25m-double what it was just 12 months ago-and continued growth projected, they need a sharp finance mind to help steer the numbers behind the momentum.
The Role
This isn’t just a reporting role. You’ll be the engine behind the monthly accounts process, taking the lead on:
- Full control of P&Ls
- Owning month-end and year-end schedules
- Supervising two Assistant Accountants as they progress through their studies
- Providing financial insight and working closely with the FC and FD
- Playing a key part in group-level reporting and business-wide projects as the company scales
What They’re Looking For
You’ll be either a finalist or newly qualified accountant who’s ready for a step up. But more than that, they want someone commercially minded-someone who looks beyond the numbers and asks, “What does this mean for the business?”
You’ll need to be confident, technically strong, and able to operate with independence. There’s real backing from leadership, but they’re looking for someone who thrives when given trust and space to make things happen.
