If you are an experienced Bookkeeper that is looking for a role with a great work life balance and plenty of autonomy here it is.

You will be given the freedom to take ownership of every part of the firms finances; this will be yours to look after and the Directors are happy for you to manage it in any way you want.

Don’t mistake this for them not wanting to be involved; they have already said you will be given all the tools you need to make the role a success; but they will trust you to manage things in your own way…..without sticking their noses in.

The company is really successful and cash rich, with a long history of trading so this isn’t about battling to free up cash and holding off suppliers.

It’s about making sure that things run smoothly, are organised and being on hand to give the owners the relevant information to allow them to make informed business decisions.

A relaxed working environment, modern offices and great commuter links are some of the other things to look forward to – along with a flexible hybrid working pattern to allow you to continue with any commitments outside of work.

Daily duties will be utilising Xero Software to produce a monthly TB, with the occasional P & L and cash flow reports for Director meetings.

Everyone pulls together, in fact the Director explained the team culture here is the best he has ever seen – so you won’t be short of offers for help at the end of the month when things get busy.

To be considered you must have previous experience in a similar role; ideally with experience of Xero software.
