Your Role: Driving Financial Excellence and Strategic Insight

In this pivotal role, you’ll lead the day-to-day financial operations of the business, helping to shape and strengthen the businesses financial framework. You’ll be a trusted voice to the board, offering strategic guidance and insight while developing and leading a small, dedicated finance team.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Overseeing all financial operations, controls, and reporting

Identifying opportunities to streamline processes and enhance performance

Supporting the board with forward-looking financial strategies

Coaching and developing a high-performing finance team of three

Driving continual improvement while ensuring compliance and accuracy

What You’ll Bring:

We’re looking for a confident and capable leader with a passion for getting things done the right way.

Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)

Financial services sector experience (essential)

Proven leadership and mentoring experience

Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance frameworks

Organisation skills and understanding of daily priorities for you and the team

Sage 50 experience (desirable)

We have used Platinum many times and will continue to do so.
