This is a brand new role, created due to their growth plans, a Purchasing Assistant to work alongside the Purchasing Manager in running the supply chain for the company.
The supply chain has grown massively over the last 12 months, they have suppliers that have been with the business since the start so it’s the perfect supply chain for you to take control of. They have a seamless process, an incredible modern system with all information held to make your life easier.
What you’ll be doing is managing relationships with current suppliers, negotiating contracts and prices, sourcing of new suppliers and essentially having full autonomy to make decisions on the supply chain and how it runs.
Rest assured, you have the support and guidance from the Purchasing Manager who has been with the company since day one, she knows her stuff, she’s absolutely brilliant and genuinely you have the best mentor by your side to get up to scratch.

You must be confident, be commercially focused and business minded with experience in purchasing – sourcing of new suppliers, negotiating and making decisions.
