After meeting with the Managing Director today I am truly blown away by this role and the flexibility that comes with it. An Office Manager role where you make the decisions, your opinion will be valued and you can really make your mark. The role is in a niche market, offering benefits and progression that I haven’t seen in a very long time.

The role is to support the MD day to day, however, what makes this different is the niche market, variety in tasks and no day will ever be the same. My client is looking for someone who has;

  • Previous Office Management experience
  • Someone who is highly organised and can work effectively
  • Ability to manage contractors & their diary management
  • The willingness to learn and see ‘the bigger picture’ for operational function
  • Implementing procedures, policies & systems
  • Someone to bring new ideas to the business

You will be running day to day office management and assisting with the management of 6 field contractors who are taking on maintenance of properties. You will be the key contact for all clients, council & solicitors to ensure smooth process. If you love operational function this is for you, you will have sole control over this and the MD is so open to new, fresh ideas that can make the business slicker. They want someone to come in and take care of all the functions.

The benefits of this are HUGE. My client has made it clear to me that within 2 years you will have made excessive progression, they have plans to grow further offering more opportunity for the right person. They offer 28 days holiday, plus Christmas shut down, this is a company who is hot on family life. They are flexible with working hours, generally 8-4 but if you have school pick ups, rest assured this is not a problem for this business. Easily accessible within 1 minute walking distance of St Peters Square.
