This is a brilliant business and let me tell you, they’re going places and they need a hungry, ambitious and career driven Management Accountant to be on this journey with them as they are organically growing as-well as having bold expansion plans with many acquisitions taking place and in the pipeline. Currently standing at £50 million turnover, they are on track and forecast to double in turnover by 2025 and this is the opportunity where this role will grow as the company does, ultimately getting you to Financial Controller level in the next few years.
I hear all the time that the progression accountants are promised isn’t being delivered or happening as it was supposed to, well having worked with this business on multiple occasions and seen people progress there, let me tell you – it will happen here!
You will report into the Finance Director who is a brilliant mentor and “having been there and got the T shirt” he is the best of the best to be learning from. You will also have direct line management of two Assistant Accountants who will support with the transactional accounts, allowing you to crack on with the “sexy” parts of Management Accounting and business partnering key stakeholders.
You must have a “can do” attitude and willing to get stuck in and challenge the status quo bringing new ideas or processes to the table, the beauty of the role is you will have complete autonomy of the month end process, your ideas will be listened to but you will also have the support and be able to learn from a great FD who will get you to the next stage of your career.
