You’ll take ownership of the purchase ledger and keep month-end in tip top shape. But the real value of this role is what happens next.
As soon as your purchase ledger work is completed each month, you’ll step straight into the management accounts process with the Financial Controller; so if this takes you one 1, that means 3 weeks a month to join the management accounts – so you’re in the driving seat!
No being kept at arm’s length. No waiting for “one day.” You’ll be in it from the start.
If you’re confident on the basics and ready to move into management accounts, this is a clean, credible step forward with a mentor who absolutely loves developing staff and seeing them shine!
This isn’t sink or swim. It’s structured exposure, hands-on support, and the chance to develop at a pace that’s actually manageable & allows you to deliver!
So, to be considered, you need to have mastered transactional accounting, actually like being involved from grass-roots level but now want the chance to fly in your role – with guidance and direction from the SLT.
