I have just been briefed by a delightful Finance Director who, I believe, has right approach and attitude to work and that’s why she is not looking for a traditional Financial Controller but rather a Lifestyle Financial Controller!

This FD is looking to hire someone who has worked hard to gain their professional qualification, has burned the midnight oil and put in ‘ridiculously long hours’ far too often and has now earned themselves the right to operate autonomously in a senior finance capacity, choose their own hours and working days, planning their work around the family and their hobbies and not allowing work to encroach on their ‘me’ time.

This isn’t to say that you won’t be developed or offered professional opportunities, no, there is lots of scope for this, however it’s about trusting you to do your job effectively and on your terms. We have used Platinum many times and will continue to do so.
