I have just been briefed by a delightful Finance Director who, I believe, has right approach and attitude to work and that’s why she is not looking for a traditional Financial Controller but rather a Lifestyle Financial Controller!
This FD is looking to hire someone who has worked hard to gain their professional qualification, has burned the midnight oil and put in ‘ridiculously long hours’ far too often and has now earned themselves the right to operate autonomously in a senior finance capacity, choose their own hours and working days, planning their work around the family and their hobbies and not allowing work to encroach on their ‘me’ time.
