HR & Recruitment Assistant

The HR and Recruitment Assistant will assist the successful team in coping with an ever-increasing demand of their products and services.

Within this role you will be expected to:

  • Carry out all recruitment administration including offer packs, recruitment documents, Adverts and posting of adverts
  • Assist in managing applications via E-recruitment
  • Screen candidates and invite to interviews and assist in centre interviews when necessary
  • Ensure all new starters have uniform items and PPE when they commence employment
  • Administrate all employee probation periods and ensure completion on HR system
  • Process new starter information and ensure all files are compliant with current immigration law
  • Process starter and leaver information, liaising with the accounts department
  • Process annual leave requests and up-date payroll information correctly
  • Up-date the HR databases to ensure all data is up to date and relevant
  • Provide day to day advice and guidance to line managers and employees on HR issues
  • Ensure exit interviews are conducted with all leaving employees
  • Respond to reference requests for existing and ex-employees
  • To assist in the production of employee communication including employee emails and letters

Experience criteria:

  • A minimum of 1 years’ experience in a HR administrator/recruitment role
  • A professional and confident telephone manner
  • Discretion and ability to be able to handle confidential matters
  • Highly organised with a logical approach
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate proficiently both in writing and orally
  • Enjoys the challenge of multi-tasking
  • Computer literate and high familiarity with Microsoft Office
  • All candidates must provide proof of eligibility to work in the UK to be considered
