This property development company with a portfolio worth over £100mil is looking for their new Finance Manager. Someone driven, meticulous in interrogating the numbers, with a real appetite for personal and professional growth…Afterall, you will become the FD of the business in the future.
You will be the accounts guru, covering end-to-end accounting whilst being a key advisor to the Directors on all things finance. With this in mind, you need to be a Finance Manager comfortable with all aspects of accounting for this role from a transactional level right up to strategic planning, cashflow forecasting and stakeholder management.
The Directors are incredible at all things property development, QS-related and winning contracts (with HUGE names may I add) but realise they’re too involved in finance, and have too great a reliance on the external accountants.
They’ve expanded to a point where they need a Finance Manager to head up accounts, bring all management accounting in-house from the externals and enhance reporting down to the GP margin on each project. Increase visibility and increase accessibility to live info.
You will be given anything and everything you need to succeed. So, you will:
- Implement your own working style, ideas and processes
- End-to-end accounting, from processing invoices to full cashflow forecasting, budgeting, PNL analysis, VAT returns, CIS and management accounts
- Once totally integrated, you will be given the option to bring in more team members
