My client is looking for an enthusiastic Accounts Assistant Junior to join the team in Trafford. You will be exposed to all transactional finance and work alongside Management Accountants too, so the sky really is the limit when it comes to this vacancy!

The only prerequisite that this business have is that you can demonstrate at least 6 months experience in a finance role as you will need to understand the basics as a starting point.
Reporting directly into the Finance Controller and working in a talented team of 5, you will gain the essential knowledge and experience to prosper as a qualified accountant.
What makes this role so fantastic is that the first 12 months is already mapped out for you to have a real sense of direction in your role and know what you need to aim for.
First quarter: Settle in with the company, learn the company system, sit alongside the Purchase Ledger Clerk
Second quarter: Exposure to both sales and purchase ledger and the opportunity to start your AAT studies
Third quarter: Fine tuning your purchase and sales ledger experience including with assisting with month end closure and statement reconciliations
Fourth quarter: Have an overview of the year and discuss what you’re enjoying most, where you would like more training and the potential to be nominated for employee of the year!
