JOB TITLE: Bookkeeper

LOCATION: Oldham

SALARY: £24,000 – £26,000

JOB SUMMARY:

A well-established Tech company based in Oldham is now looking for a Bookkeeper to manage their day-to-day financial tasks. They are looking for someone to record the whole financial process including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments. You will be working closely with their Accounting team to create and analyse reports to present to the Financial Controller.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Record / Monitor the day-to-day financial transactions.
  • Paying bills and collecting debts.
  • Processing accounts receivable and payable.
  • Working alongside knowledgeable accountants when required.
  • Handling monthly payroll for employees using accounting software.
  • Prepare, review, and understand financial statements.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Previous accounting experience
  • Experience in accountancy softwares. For example Sage.
  • Positive and can do attitude.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Consistent accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Understand the importance of meeting deadlines.
