I am working alongside a rapidly growing company in sourcing an accomplished and ambitious Finance Manager to oversee the accounts function.
This is a really exciting opportunity to join the company in the midst of their expansion plans. The business’ aim is to double their turnover from £10 million to £20 million within the next 2 years to not only grow their name in the market but also facilitate a clear progression route for you to get to FC level and beyond!
You will be encouraged to get stuck in straight away and manage a team of 3 assistant accountants, supervising the end-to-end finance operation and ensuring a solid line of communication is maintained between the junior finance team and senior management. The position and running of the team will really be left up to you, giving you full autonomy within the role to implement your own ideas and working style with the ultimate goal of achieving the business objective of growth.
Overview of duties:
- Preparing budgets & producing end-to-end monthly Management Accounts
- Financial Statements, accruals, prepayments & journals
- Support in the completion of the annual external audit
- Recruit, manage & develop members of the finance team including performance reviews
- Liaise with third parties, banks, HMRC, auditors & other key stakeholders
This really is the role all qualified and established accountants are asking me for, with veritable scope to progress within the company but also the opportunity to play a hands on role in the business’ plans for the future.
You must be a qualified in CIMA/ACCA/ACA to be considered, show excellent communication & leadership skills, commercial awareness, and have the ability to work both independently and as part of the wider team.
