Location: Manchester City Centre – Hybrid Working and Study Support

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a People Co-Ordinator to join the people team for a fantastic company that truly believe that people should be at the heart of all decisions!

This role will report directly into the People Manager and will be support on all HR matters and queries across the business.

Purpose of the role:

To support the People Team to deliver an effective people service to the business by being the first point of contact for People queries and providing:

  • people managers with the right information to help them lead their teams;
  • colleagues with a ‘customer focused’ service related to their employment;
  • the People team with efficient processes which enable them to focus on departmental objectives.

As People Co-ordinator, you will manage all HR administrative duties, act as a “Super User” for the HR system, support the recruitment team with new starters, administer all contractual changes, family leave requests and payroll admin.

Payroll preparation and admin is a key part with this role, so the ideal candidate must be confident in payroll administrative duties and have a keen eye for detail.

The ideal candidate will have a CIPD qualification (or actively working towards), previous experience of working in a busy HR/People team and have a sound understanding of HR policies and practices.

The role attracts an annual salary of between £24,000 and £27,000 depending on experience. In addition, you will benefit from some amazing benefits such as 25 days holiday per year plus 8 Bank Holidays, your birthday off, enhanced sick pay and health, wellbeing benefits and study support as per business needs.

The role is based in Manchester at their offices in the Northern Quarter and they are offering hybrid working!
