Your Role: Driving Financial Excellence and Strategic Insight

In this pivotal role, you’ll lead the day-to-day financial operations of the business, helping to shape and strengthen the businesses financial framework. You’ll be a trusted voice to the board, offering strategic guidance and insight while developing and leading a small, dedicated finance team.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing all financial operations, controls, and reporting
  • Identifying opportunities to streamline processes and enhance performance
  • Supporting the board with forward-looking financial strategies
  • Coaching and developing a high-performing finance team of three
  • Driving continual improvement while ensuring compliance and accuracy

What You’ll Bring:

We’re looking for a confident and capable leader with a passion for getting things done the right way.

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • Financial services sector experience (essential)
  • Proven leadership and mentoring experience
  • Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance frameworks
  • Organisation skills and understanding of daily priorities for you and the team
  • Sage 50 experience (desirable)
