Sensational Financial Controller position now available to work for one of the Stockport’s most ambitious Directors and businesses.
Right now they are a group of 7 business, all separate entities who are then consolidated into one set of final group accounts. Each business has a specialism and runs a tight budget achieving profit with group turnover under £10m and growing.
The company director is looking to hire a solutions focused Financial Controller, someone with a collaborative approach who understands strategy and what the bigger picture looks like whilst complementing the strength of the SLT alongside the HR Manager, Operations Manager and Company Owner.
She is so passionate about her business and the industry it is infectious and from meeting with her it is easy to see why her companies are so successful giving you as her new Financial Controller an incredible chance to be part of something special.
Operating on Xero, you will manage cradle to grave accounting with the support of an experienced transactional accountant and external accountants where needed. The role will be covering month end close, cash flow control, rolling forecasts, budget reviews and final month end presentation to leadership.
It’s the type of role where you will “get stuck in” so suits someone who likes to see beyond the financial figures, someone with an investigative eye who can identify opportunity and work with management to enhance performance and growth.
Perfect applicant would be someone well versed in SME accounting, an person who wants to make a difference to a business where your skills are knowledge are welcomed at the top table and overall a good person, great morals, positive and likeable!
