Platinum are exclusively retained by this market-leading group based in City Centre to source a Senior Management Accountant who possesses the skill-set, technical ability and ambition to develop into an SLT position within the next 12-18months.
Joining an international SaaS business which is rapidly expanding and looking for candidates who thrive within a fast-paced environment and want to part of a growing group.
We are seeking qualified and established Senior Management Accountants, able to gain total knowledge of the group accounts and structure quickly. A complex structure with 5 entities, loads of intercompany transactions, UK + European territories and growing, to be considered you must have experience producing multiple sets of accounts to tight month-end deadlines autonomously.
You will report directly into the Group Finance Controller (ACA) who has high expectations but equally wants this person to know they have their support and mentorship on hand. Your responsibilities will centre around accounts production, finalising packs, management of a small team and business partnering with key stakeholdersβ¦
- Lead the management accounts production for all entities, overseeing the work of 2 x AMAs.
- Finalising the commentary and variance analysis.
- Manage the AMAs, lead on their development, mentoring and training.
- Full involvement in the budgeting and forecasting process.
- Continuous development of procedures, such as enhancing reporting with PowerBi.
- Audit acting as liaison for management account queries / requirements.
- Internal and external stakeholder management.
The timings on career progression are totally dependent on the person. If you come in and totally integrate, fully understand the complexities of the accounts and prove you’re ready for the next step, there’s no reason why in the next 12months you won’t become a member of the SLT.
