If you are an experienced Bookkeeper that wants to work alongside a Managing Director that values what you do and listens to your suggestions then this is the role for you.

At this company the Bookkeeper is considered an extension of the senior management team, and the person that can provide key financial information to help the MD run the business.

Because of this you will be granted a real insight into what’s happening in the company, you will hear about future plans, strategies and goals; ideal if you are someone that really likes to know what’s happening around them.

The role has only become available because the current Bookkeeper is retiring and what makes this role so good is they want to do an extended handover where you will be working alongside the person currently in the role.

This means your training, support and hand over will be comprehensive….because its being done by the person that has been in this position for over 10 years!

There are plenty of other things that will appeal. You can manage your own day and time without interference from management, there are nice offices, great colleagues, flexible working and other softer perks that all add to the appeal of the role.

Willing to consider full or part time applications, ideally the business would like someone with experience in their sector (construction), and / or previous experience with Xero.

So if you have previous experience of supporting a business with their accounts up to Trial Balance, and would be attracted to a role where you are working with…instead of against the MD please apply.
