An opportunity has been created in Bury for a Trainee Management Accountant that feels ready to take the next step in their finance career.
The business is looking for an individual that they can develop as this role has a clear progression to a Group Management Accountant role in the future.
You will be reporting to the Finance Manager and work alongside a team of 6 finance staff where you will be trained using Sage Line 50 to produce management accounts to strict month end deadlines.
The company has seen growth throughout the last five years and projections from this year will see sales increase by a further 20%.
Initially being trained in the production of Management Accounts the role will develop into an autonomous role where you will produce a month end commentary to be presented to the Finance Manager at the end of each month.
Applicants for the role will need to be able to demonstrate previous experience in accounts, ideally in an Accounts Assistant role which has given you a strong grounding on transactional finance, or working in practice producing accounts for a number of firms.
Ideal applicants will also be studying towards a professional qualification such as the AAT, ACCA or CIMA, and the company is prepared to offer study support to ensure you complete these in the shortest possible time.
Based in Cheadle Heath in Stockport the company is easily accessible via public transport and boasts modern offices.
