This role is super interesting and can genuinely fit a wide range of personnel.

This role has come up due to internal growth and they are now looking for the next person to come in to their tax world.

If you’re a graduate just finishing uni and want to get your feet in your first role in Finance and need someone to guide and give you all the tools to succeed then my client can pursue that.

However, if you have been in the tax scene for 10 plus years and just fancy a change of scenery and to get your hands dirty in a different sector this can also be your dream role.

This company are really open to the expertise you hold, their main focus is finding someone who is hard working, doesn’t bring drama to the work place and is genuinely interested in the tax world and the job.

  • Some of the duties of this role will entail –
  • Review information needed to undertake the work and identify gaps in information
  • Liaise with colleagues, clients and external bodies as required to obtain relevant information
  • Extract data from financial records
  • Create and manipulate spreadsheets
  • Conduct analysis of financial data
  • Prepare calculations of tax, interest, and penalties that may be due. Using software for this purpose where appropriate.
  • Help to resolve queries from HMRC regarding accounts/returns/reports submitted and draft written responses
  • Performing research as required, for example to determine whether an expense is allowable or not
