Sales Operations Manager

Local MD noticed a requirement for a Sales Operations Manager to bridge the gap between team leaders and staff members and himself.
He holds his hands up and states that he can sell, run a business successfully and be a fantastic MD but people management isn’t his forte; so he needs you.
Worldwide product and business, UK site in Romiley, you’ll manage 8 staff members and bring some calm to the chaos.
Manufacturing company therefore things go wrong, it can get super busy and sometimes the Team Leaders lack communication with the rest of the team, so what he needs is someone to be the eyes and ears on the ground for him and bring everything together.
MD is field based 80% of the time, so he wants you to run the department and be his 2nd in command.
You’ll people manage, ensure workloads completed, agendas set and deadlines met, as well as reporting on a weekly basis to MD on progress, updates and business operations.
His first ever hire of this sort, so it’s a learning curve for both! One that you can shape, design and run with, in your own style. Such a brilliant opportunity.
People management experience within an office set up is absolutely paramount; do not apply if you don’t have this!
