A brand new role has been created for a small business in Hyde to work alongside the head of supply chain in making decisions, sourcing new suppliers and managing pricing, budgets and relationships with the company supply chain.

This is a fantastic position to get stuck in, have autonomy and learn everything about supply chain in a business, you’re not just sat raising purchase orders day in day out, you’re creating a smooth streamlined supply chain process.

You will have full training and support from the Director, she has done this role all of her career and been with the business for over 6 years, anything she doesn’t know isn’t worth knowing. She is an expert so the perfect person to be your mentor (and she’s great, funny, down to earth and super passionate)

The business operates with an honest and transparent approach whether that be with staff or with their clients, the owner of the company is very much involved in the day to day and still operates within a sales position so they really are a unit that pull together.

It’s fast paced, it’s ever changing and it’s growing so this role needs someone confident, someone experienced in sourcing suppliers and pricing that will go in head first and crack on with the support from management.

There’s so much to learn and grow into here, essentially you can take over the Head of Supply Chain in a few years to come when the current Director becomes more involved with business operations. So, there is career progression if you want it!

Full time office based, usual hours are 9-5pm but some flexibility around school drop offs if you wish with free parking on site and close to commuter links. Ideal if you live in the Tameside area!
