As a Purchase Ledger Supervisor, you will be managing a team of 4. The team are fantastic and already self-sufficient, but my client needs someone who can be the ‘gatekeeper’ between them and Finance Manager. The ideal candidate will already have managerial experience and extensive knowledge of the purchase ledger function.
You won’t need to handhold or micro-manage the team but simply ensure KPI’s are hit, and deadlines are achieved. This is a hands-on role, where you will still be getting stuck in with the transactional duties including paying suppliers and maintaining relationships. It’s a great balance of overseeing a team but also getting involved yourself!
You’ll have regular meetings with management, and they are always happy to listen to any new ideas. They want to make everyone’s life easier, so if you spot a process that could be streamlined then they are all ears!
