I’m helping a client based in Sale who is looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join the team.

This company believes they offer a fun, young and hard working environment.

You as a person will need to be quick thinking, ambitious and be able to work in a fast paced environment – with the finance department being a head count of around 50 people there is tons of growth and progression on offer here.

This role is massively varied, no two days will be the same; you won’t be sat around processing hundreds of invoices daily instead you will be building relationships, maintaining existing relationships and networking across the business.

Some of your daily tasks will include:

  • Completing every step of the purchase ledger process
  • Completing weekly bank recs and supplier statement reconciliations
  • Ensuring all invoices are processed accurately in time for the monthly payment run
  • Paying supplier on a monthly basis (including ad hoc BACS payments)
  • Building strong relationships with suppliers

To be considered for the role you must have a minimum of 12 months experience in a similar role alongside excellent communication skills and an enthusiastic personality.
