Phase 1 – First 12 Months
You’ll take full ownership of the Purchase Ledger; not just processing but running the show. Building supplier relationships, leading payment runs, driving accuracy and control. It’s a key role, not a box-ticking exercise – and it sets you up for what comes next.
Phase 2 – After 12 Months
With a solid base behind you and study support already in motion, you’ll step into an Assistant Accountant position. You’ll start owning parts of the month-end process, contributing to management accounts, and expanding your technical skillset. This is the point where the role shifts – and your progression kicks in.
The business is scaling fast – and they’re looking for people who want to scale with it. If you’re ambitious, they’ll give you the structure, support, and responsibility to move up the ranks. But only if you’re willing to learn the detail and earn your next move without wanting to run before you can walk.
