Purchase Ledger Clerk (Route to Assistant Accountant)

This role is designed for an individual who wants to progress and your development plan will be mapped out in two stages:
Phase 1 (12 months): Managing the Purchase Ledger function; getting to know your suppliers, preparing payments runs and reconciling the supplier statements
Phase 2 (12 months +): Moving into an Assistant Accountant role; you will receive study support from day one so after your first year, you will be perfectly aligned to start supporting with month-end close and assisting with management accounts
In order to be considered for this role, you must be happy to be in a transactional finance role to begin with and accept that you must learn these processes and procedures in order to progress to the next stage in your career.
This experience will give you all the foundations you need to push on and move up the ladder; providing you put in the hard work & graft, there is no limit to the progression possibilities; the Directors are always on the lookout for talent they can retain & invest in.
