If it’s essential that you work for a family run business that offers an excellent company culture, then this opportunity is perfect. I am currently recruiting for a client based in Altrincham looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join the team of 5.
You will be reporting directly into the Financial Controller, who is absolutely amazing, after meeting her it is clear she has her staff’s best interests at heart. She mentioned how she always brings in regular treats for the team and takes them out on monthly work lunches – and there’s plenty of nice places to go! This certainly ticks the box if you want to join a business where you are looked after and genuinely appreciated.
Due to the majority of the team having young families, the business operates on a completely flexible working schedule. As long as you work between the core hours of 10-4 you can start and finish as early or as late you please. The business understands the importance of family and any outside work commitments, ideal if you’re looking to join a more flexible business.
This is an end-to-end purchase ledger role, so no two days are the same. My client doesn’t like to pigeonhole its staff, so you won’t just be sat in a corner processing invoices all day, you’ll be getting stuck in with all aspects of the supplier ledger. Liaising with suppliers on a daily basis it is crucial that you are able to build a rapport, as this business tends to support other family run businesses so they love to add a personal touch.
