Role Overview:
A Semi Senior Accountant opportunity to join a small team but growing team. This opportunity offers great exposure to a variety of different client types and an ability to grow within the firm.
The ideal person will be friendly and looking to further develop their career in accountancy.
Responsibilities:
- Managing portfolio of clients including all communications, calls and emails.
- Preparing financial statements for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders
- Completing VAT and MTD ITSA for clients.
- Preparing self-assessments for clients.
- Engaging with the culture of providing support to both clients and other members of staff.
Requirements:
- Proven experience working with accounting software such as QuickBooks, & Xero. Knowledge of taxcalc is preferred but not required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience within an accountancy practice. 3 years preferred.
- Demonstrated mentoring capabilities or experience supporting junior team members is desirable.
- Ability to work independently whilst contributing effectively within a team environment.
