Just left a meeting with a brilliant Manufacturing site in Eccles, it was super interesting and what a great job this is for someone in the area.

Lovely place to work, as soon as you walk in you’re greeted by staff that want to have a chat with you, get to know you and welcome you; so refreshing.

You’ll be based in the office, but the plant and manufacturing site are on site too so it’s a real hustle and bustle and lots going on; exciting.

The role is the best part. Supporting the Site Manager and Health & Safety Manager with all administration and coordination, as well as ad hoc support to the Directors. You’ll support on compliance and regulations, training coordination, booking flights/ accommodation for Directors, purchasing for the and creating reports on Excel for the Site Manager.

One day you might be completing a health & safety tour with staff, the next you might be booking a work visit for the Directors; so much variety every single day.

You’re basically the sole focal point to most areas of the business, you’re a big thing!!

They need someone to coordinate everyone, be that support back bone to all departments and get everyone in check.

You’ll sit in an office adjacent to the Site Manager but have your own space, site staff, office staff, directors and friends will come in and out to have a chinwag throughout the day so being a people person that can build relationships and have a bit of a laugh is a must.

Experience wise, they want an Administrator/ Coordinator with experience in a similar role, someone that’s perhaps worn many hats and worked in an industrial environment such as engineering/ manufacturing or other.

This way, you’ll know what to expect and love it!
