Marketing Account Manager

Saddleworth

£30,000 – £35,000

A business based in Saddleworth is currently seeking someone to join their vibrant team to manage the relationships and marketing with their current clients.

The role is predominantly focusing on digital and social media marketing and they would love someone with experience and knowledge of working with Photoshop and/or Canva so you can really express your creative side when advertising and promoting.

You will be part of a small (growing) team of 7/8 staff in their offices bouncing ideas and driving the business forward.

This Account Manager role is evidently a very rewarding and involved position so the ideal person (not a necessity as they’re happy to develop someone who is potentially earlier in their career) will manage all aspects of marketing as well as looking at sales figures and consistently being motivated to move things to the next level.

The job involves:

  • Assessing the marketplace for each event you are promoting and managing the marketing for it.
  • Liaising with marketing teams at venues where they have bookings in as they deliver the marketing locally using their local knowledge and contacts.
  • Creating, analysing and approving marketing plans and budgets for each event alongside the theatre marketing teams and adapting them when necessary.
  • Creating and posting digital content for social media platforms.
  • Writing copy for, collating and proof-reading information packs, press releases, direct mail letters, e-shots, brochures, programmes, leaflets and posters.
  • Collating and analysing ticket sales information from on-sale events and adjusting their marketing plans and efforts based on the findings.
  • Booking advertising for TV, radio, press, social media and outdoor poster sites etc..
  • Briefing and liaising with designers to create artwork for our events / artistes.
  • Collating and ordering print material such as, brochures, posters and programmes.
  • Arranging interviews and organising competitions / promotions for TV, radio and press.
  • Liaising with the clients you manage the marketing for to ensure they are happy and involved with the process.

What is required:

  • Social Media management including paid and unpaid posting and content creation.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop / InDesign and or Canva or similar would be beneficial.
  • Knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office programmes especially
  • Excellent communication, organisation, time management and prioritisation skills.
  • An ability to form good working relationships both in person and by phone / e-mail.
  • Strong negotiation skills: an understanding of how to get what you need from people.
  • Able to bring creative ideas to the table and brainstorm within a team environment.

The salary bracket is dependent on experience and where you will start in the business with regular salary reviews.

There are opportunities to step into a Marketing Management position to enable the Operations Leadership to step aside so progression opportunities are obvious… giving you longevity in this role.

The job is based in their offices Monday – Friday 9:15am – 5:15pm.
