Working for a phenomenal MD, with a dedicated mentor, within a business who recognise talent and nurture it…For anyone operating at Management Accountant level, either part-qualified or a Finalist, looking for a long-term career path with vast exposure and progression, keep reading.
Having visited the business and chatted at length with the Leadership team, inclusive of the MD and portfolio FD, what’s clear here is this role is offering a massive opportunity. They’re looking for a Management Accountant to complete all month-end responsibilities and the monthly MA pack, whilst overseeing a vastly experienced transactional team who are incredibly self-sufficient and understand the business end-to-end.
The business currently have a Portfolio Finance Director on a part-time basis available to you a couple of days a week to ensure any areas you need support with, he is there to answer any questions. A vastly accomplished FD who is a phenomenal mentor and someone you would genuinely want to work with, he is charismatic, young and dynamic – completely engaging and well-versed in supporting Finalist through their studies to qualification level.
Under the mentorship of the FD, you will enhance your knowledge base, be upskilled in areas such as detailed cashflow forecasting and once fully confident in the role, you will progress into a Finance Manager position. Timings on this transition will be completely dependent on how quickly you integrate into the team and pick up the management accountant, this could be as soon as 12 months.
