Overview:
This is a brilliant opportunity for a Management Accountant to join a PE backed company that has increased its turnover from Β£2million to Β£20milion in under seven years.
Selling prestige, high end products the growth rate is phenomenal and rapid expansion in the American market has created this role which offers so much opportunity for progression and development that its unique in the market.
Reporting to the Group FD you will take control of the company’s American division, you will be presenting to the board at month end and handling everything finance related from cradle to grave.
The investors have clear and ambitious growth plans which will in turn create a number of career opportunities specifically for the person in this role.
You will gain commercial exposure which could lead to a Finance BP role, or alternatively with additional recruitment on the horizon the role would naturally progress to FC with a small team underneath you.
But in the meantime this is going to be an exciting role, with plenty of variety at a business that is really going places.
The role:
Monthly you will be ‘hands on’ in the production of the monthly accounts offering insightful commentary and analysis to highlight potential issues and improvements. Your core tasks will include:
- Preparing and delivering the month end accounts, P&L, Balance sheet fully reconciled, Cash Flow and developing and delivering functional leadership team requirements and business KPI’s.
- Supporting the annual budgeting and forecasting process
- Preparation of the Accruals and Prepayments
- Population of monthly Management Information Packs
- Balance Sheet reconciliation and resolution every month
- Daily, weekly, period Banking
- Completion of annual Audit deliverables pack along with ongoing timely information requirements during audit process.
- Providing support in a variety of financial projects
- Assist the Finance Director and FP&A with audit queries during year-end processes
To be considered you must be qualified with a proven history in Management Accounts, any experience in manufacturing or multi-currency accounting would be beneficial but not essential.
