Beyond the culture, they have an absolutely phenomenal opportunity right now for a Management Accountant to join the team. The phases of this role offer VAST exposure:
- Phase 1) You’re coming into this newly created role to drive the management accounts for a recently acquired business – end to end pack with variance analysis and commentary
- Phase 2) You will be supported by the FC in aligning the accounts and processes to Group standards
- Phase 3) Once the accounts are aligned you will become a group management accountant across the original acquisition and the larger group (t/o £60+mil and growing)
On your skillset, we need you to have produced full sets of Mas end-to-end, have VAT experience and have multi-currency experience. And be great at making a cup of tea on the brew run.
The great thing here is, the FC is all ears to new ideas, ways of working and processes, so if you think certain procedures could be more efficient or slicker, show him your ideas. This really is a role where you can put your own stamp on the accounts, no micro-management, autonomy when wanted, but always with the support of the FC when needed.
