If you are looking for a role where there is a clear progression route from Management Accountant to Finance Director (with nobody in your way) then this is the role for you.
This ambitious IT company are currently looking for their future FD…but the beauty of the role is you don’t need to be at that level yet.
Instead, you will benefit from having the support of an external FD over the next few years as you refine your skills and knowledge. This FD will be tasked with training and mentoring you (one to one), then when you are ready you will take overall control of the finance function.
As the Management Accountant you will have 2 direct reports, both established members that will need little to no support, and you will report into the Managing Director producing monthly accounts with commentary that are then discussed in the month end board meetings.
There is study support available (although you don’t need to be a studier) alongside the opportunity to really shape the role to your working style and put your own stamp on the finance function.
With nobody in your way the pace at which you progress within the business will be driven by you, and you alone so it’s perfect for someone that prefers to be rewarded for their hard work rather than having to wait for people around them to progress or leave.
Currently turning over £3.5million and with ambitions to reach the £5million mark in the next few years it’s a rare role with great potential.
