About the opportunity:
I look at this as a phenomenal opportunity for a qualified Management Accountant to enhance their already impressive skillset, gain vast exposure even at Board-level, and have a defined progression route.
The goal is to strengthen your skillset and knowledge base in all areas to be able to develop you into a senior position. Board presentations, 5 year business plans, acquisitions, mergers and financial modelling will all form part of your role, this offers so much more than your general Management Accounts position, it’s a serious opportunity for both personal and professional development.
On your role, you will create the management accounts for 4 operating entities and consolidate at group level. Once you’re confident and well-integrated you will even present the accounts to the Board, inclusive of CEO – fantastic exposure.
Company ethos and working model:
The role would be office based with flexibility around start/finish times, they understand that we all have obligations outside of work which need to be taken into consideration. The team are open, extremely collaborative and everyone understands how they fit into the bigger picture – this is a unified department.
You will report into a charismatic, dynamic and driven Financial Controller. Meeting at their offices and chatting at length with the FC you couldn’t ask for a more approachable, down-to-earth manager, there for support when needed but keen to see you put your own stamp on the accounts.
