What a fantastic call with this client – a down-to-earth, flexible MD looking for YOU to join his well-established accountancy team, enhancing the function at an impressive salary of anything up to £60,000 – well above market-rate and speaks volumes about the MD’s attitude to staff – you will be valued and duly rewarded!
You will be so much more than a Management Accountant here – you will be the number 1, the Head of Finance, the trusted advisor to the Directors and an absolutely critical hire for the business in ensuring their already impressive £39million t/o keeps climbing higher!
Alongside the MD, you’ll be a pivotal influencer in developing and delivering the strategic direction of a business. You’ll be responsible for 3 direct reports, leadership of the finance function to support all stakeholders, production of the management accounts, reporting and once confident the MD is keen to see you advance prospective projects – such as the implementation of a new ERP system.
Manufacturing experience is essential for this role, the MD needs you to have a solid understanding of accounting in the industry to be able to hit the ground running producing the MAs. Experience managing a team is preferred but not essential, as long as you possess strong leadership ability you will succeed!
