This is a role that will suit a really ‘hands-on’ Financial Controller who is used to covering everything in Finance in an SME environment.
You’ll need to have an ambitious mindset to support the Board of Directors with the next phase of growth in this £12 million business.
You will be joining a company that already has an outstanding Finance department that runs efficiently and smoothly, with processes and procedures that work, however the Directors are keen for their new Financial Controller to challenge everything in Finance with the aim to ‘step it up.’
£12 million is a great turnover for this business, it’s cash rich and well-known but why stop at £12 million when the sky is the limit? The Directors want you to be one of them and push the business forwards and therefore you won’t be faced with any push backs or resistance. You’ll be supported and respected.
You’ll need to be adept at BAU accounting activities and be confident at monthly reporting to the Board. You’ll have the energy and enthusiasm to encourage this business to achieve more and be CIMA/ACA or ACCA qualified ideally.
