£75,000 – £85,000 – Hybrid working, bonus options and flexible hours
Platinum have worked with this City Centre business going back 10 years now, and having recently gone through a management buyout the new leadership team is looking for their future leader of finance, joining the business as Financial Controller before progressing to Finance Director.
Circa £20million t/o and forecasted to do £28million this year, you are joining a stable, well-established and growing SME business within the construction sector.
You’ll have the benefit of working alongside the existing Finance Director who has grown the business from £0-£20mil. The FD has a wealth of knowledge and experience for you to absorb over the next 12months before exiting the business and handing over.
The new leadership team is young, dynamic, highly commercial and progressive. They are already in situ and are looking for a like-minded individual to join them, guiding the financials and offering commercial insights to drive strategic decision making. Their vision centers around finance and ops working in complete harmony, so it needs an FC interested in building relationships, understanding ops and being able to see how finance fits into the bigger picture.
Their set-up is impressive, slick, modern city centre offices with a strong team of forward-thinking individuals. It’s an environment which fosters collaborative working and visibility. The new Directors know everyone on a first-name basis and have made a significant effort to understand everyone’s role within the business from a junior level upwards – Gives you an idea of the leadership’s ethos, everyone is integral to the operation and will be made to feel as such.
On your profile, we are looking for a skilled Financial Controller with construction experience along with the commercial and financial acumen to head-up Board meetings, build relationships with investors and key stakeholder as well as having their “finger on the pulse” with market-trends and insights. Able to operate at both a strategic and operational level.
