Exceptional opportunity for an astute, seasoned Financial Controller with the confidence and gravitas to take over as CFO in as little as 12 monthsβ¦
You’ll be joining an international group leading the finance team and every area of accountingβ¦Month-end, treasury, cashflow, forecasting, reporting, people-management, board pack production, payroll, international reporting requirements, complianceβ¦Total oversight of the end-to-end finance function.
The current CFO is stepping away from the business leaving you the role to grab, and he is absolutely crystal clear on the profile of person needed to successfully take over the role. They want their Group Financial Controller to be a phenomenal communicator, a strong people-leader and someone with authenticity who will challenge the stakeholders and finance department to ensure performance standards are achieved. You’ve got to be confident, assured, a true leader.
The CFO stressed, this isn’t a “number crunching, reporting-only role” – Yes, there’s elements of this, but he needs someone with real grit, able to see the big picture, the journey, and what’s needed to get there.
Well-rounded experience and exposure is absolutely critical, siloed experience in one area of accounting isn’t going to cut it for this role – You’ve got to be an expert in every area, because ultimately, you’ll be stepping up to CFO levels.
