Our client is looking for a hands-on Financial Controller to join their employee-owned business during an exciting period of growth and transformation. This is a key role reporting directly to the Directors and managing a tight-knit finance team of 3 staff.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Lead and support ongoing projects, including a major client-related transaction
- Drive process improvement across finance operations
- Oversee and review management accounts
- Present monthly board packs and strategic insights at board meetings
- Collaborate with advisors and internal stakeholders to deliver financial clarity
- Coaching and mentoring junior staff
What We’re Looking For:
- Confident and comfortable to come in and shape the finance team as you will be the number one
- Experience in IFA / financial services sector essential
- Comfortable working alongside data analysts and turning insights into action
- Skilled in Sage 50 and ready to modernise and improve systems
