Financial Controller – Service Sector

Are you a finance professional with confident managing management accounts and improving processes? Do you thrive in friendly, open cultures where everyone rolls up their sleeves and works together?

Our client is looking for a hands-on Financial Controller to join their employee-owned business during an exciting period of growth and transformation. This is a key role reporting directly to the Directors and managing a tight-knit finance team of 3 staff.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Lead and support ongoing projects, including a major client-related transaction
  • Drive process improvement across finance operations
  • Oversee and review management accounts
  • Present monthly board packs and strategic insights at board meetings
  • Collaborate with advisors and internal stakeholders to deliver financial clarity
  • Coaching and mentoring junior staff

What We’re Looking For:

  • Confident and comfortable to come in and shape the finance team as you will be the number one
  • Experience in IFA / financial services sector essential
  • Comfortable working alongside data analysts and turning insights into action
  • Skilled in Sage 50 and ready to modernise and improve systems
