This is a 360 Financial Controller position, end-to-end management of the finances and accounting team.
For anyone looking for increased responsibility and the opportunity to operate as the No.1 in finance for a Group business, this position offers exactly that…You will have final sign-off on all things finance, growth and strategy related. Business decisions will be led by your advice and analysis.
The scope of duties are too vast to note here, but the core responsibilities will centre around:
- Management of the finance team
- Management of the month-end process and schedules
- Review and management the Group cash flow forecast
- Prepare and review statutory accounts
- Act as external audit lead, liaison and POC for any auditor queries
- Review VAT and corporation tax returns
- Lead of strategic projects and growth strategy
- Lead on the implementation of a ERP system upgrade
The business is very honest about the fact that certain process / systems could be improved / modernised, so come into this role with an open mind ready for a challenge!
Given the level of role and responsibility, the business requires a qualified accountant to take helm as No.1, someone who has operated as a Financial Controller with a proven track record of managing teams and leading finance.
