This role is perfect for a detail-orientated Finance Analyst, looking to expand their analytic capabilities.
You will need to be extremely diligent, passionate about learning and eager to develop your skills in Power Bi and SQL. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to propel their career and gain hands-on experience in a supportive and dynamic environment.
You will be joining a fantastic tech business we have work with years, they offer masses in terms of career progression, exposure and flexibility. Initially you will join on a temp basis, transitioning into a permanent contract after 6 months, opening a world of opportunities.
Speaking with the Chief Executive he realises the integrity of the business’ data needs a rigorous review and analysis before being transferred to their new software system – this is where your project will begin – from there onwards the role will be yours to conquer, mould and develop.
How much flexibility is on offer?
- Hybrid working – the opportunity to work from home 3 days a week
- Flexible start and finish times (start between 8-9, log off between 4.30-5.30)
- Offices just off the M60 with free on-site parking easy access
What will the role entail?
- Assisting in data collection, validation, cleansing, and analysis.
- Supporting the design and development of interactive reports, dashboards, and visualisations.
- Conducting data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Take the lead role in implementing a new software system.
- Transforming raw data into actionable insights and helping drive data-driven decision-making across the organisation.
Ultimately if you thrive in this role the CE promises a perm position to follow. You will need come from a finance background, be an excel super-user, macro-level usage, be a self-professed numbers geek and be passionate about financial analysis.
