We are looking for a diligent, qualified financial accountant (ACCA or ACA) with a real passion for investigating the numbers and reporting on performance.
You will be joining a global PLC specializing in multi-disciplinary consultancy and running at an impressive Β£50 million turnover. As the FA of the group you will play a lead role in improving financial controls in the business as well as providing management with insightful reports and performance analysis. This role is offering unparalleled exposure and would be an excellent opportunity to enhance your skillset.
It’s a role that will really make you feel like you are contributing to the firm, offering a direct input in business decisions through your involvement in monthly finance meetings with the senior leadership team and the CFO.
You will report into a dedicated and receptive Financial Controller who will initially support you in the role, plugging any knowledge gaps you may have, then once you are established and confident you will be entrusted to operate the function autonomously.
The FC is keen to see you take a lead role in embedding MS dynamics into the accountancy department; he realises that currently the function is very ‘spreadsheet heavy’ and he needs someone to come in, be dynamic and take ownership of the new system. This poses a fantastic opportunity for a Senior FA to revitalize the finance function, making it a slicker, more streamlined and prosperous operation.
To be successful in this position you must be technically competent and ACA/ACCA Qualified. You must have excellent attention to detail, the ability to prioritise, multitask and meet strict reporting deadlines.
