This is a fantastic opportunity for any experienced Finance Manager (QBE / Qual) who loves a ‘hands-on’ role and who wants to make a difference to a business and keep challenging themselves along the way!

This is a newly created role due to the success of the business, which is cash-rich and currently stands at an impressive turnover of £40 million.

The Finance Director is great! He’s approachable, keen for someone to come in take the reigns, make suggestions and be a leader. He’s a great mentor and will give you all the support you require or give you complete autonomy, if that’s what you’d prefer.

You’ll get involved in all month-end procedures, monthly management accounts, supporting MI, the year end processes, annual audit management, VAT returns and monthly PAYE, prepare the in-house payroll, have overall accountability for the sales ledger, purchase ledger, payroll, balance sheet and treasury, key KPI reports, process analysis, improvement, and implementation and support the senior leadership team on projects and other ad hoc requirements.

The senior leadership team is all ears to new ideas and projects though, so you’ll have a vital say in shaping the future of the business.

In addition, there’s a lot happening in Finance with investment committed to digitalising the purchase to pay systems, a new server to support reporting and a new management system!
