You’ll be joining a supremely successful wholesale business, c.Β£26million t/o and growing looking to totally transform their finance function to meet with scale-up plans and development.
You’ll come in as the No.2 in finance to a vastly accomplished CFO who has recently joined the business and wants you as their right hand. The transformation project is already underway, bringing all accounting, reporting and processes in-house from an external function.
The CFO is keen for you to bring new ideas and use all your phenomenal experience and success in previous businesses into this role – you will be a key contributor in curating the new, slick and high-functioning finance department.
You’ll overhaul month-end, you’ll create your own management accounts pack, you’ll recruit more staff business grows, you’ll implement your own KPIs, you’ll totally oversee the day-to-day running of the finance function and the finance teamβ¦
It’s new, it’s a challenge, and for want of a better phrase right now, it’s a “sh*Β£ sh$w” – but this is why you’re coming in and the new CFO has been appointed. The experience you’ll gain in this position in 1 year will be equivalent to 3 years at a different company that has a “ready-made” role for you to come into. This isn’t perfect, so it needs the type of person who think great, I don’t want perfectβ¦I want a challenge.
