This really is a refreshing Finance Manager role and one of the few that I have seen recently in the area. I say this because when I met the Finance Director & MD and was blown away by their flexible attitude and aspirations for this young business that has seen a doubling in turnover within last 12 months.
Currently in the job market there are innumerable roles promising the world however the reality is they often can’t deliver and ultimately are looking for someone to plug a gap in a buoyant market.
This opportunity is the precise opposite; the business is new, refreshing, operates in an industry that will never stop growing. The Director is looking for a confident, all-round Finance Manager who can really get stuck into his cash-rich business and run the financial side of things, working closely with the Directors, to be part of the Senior Leadership Team and get involved in putting systems and procedures into place as the business grows rapidly.
As Finance Manager you will be able to make this role your own and have full autonomy over modelling on the different areas of the business, preparing budgets and forecasts and work in close collaboration, acting as a Finance Business Partner with the existing team to understand how the business works and make critical recommendations.
You will have aspirations to be a strong financial presence in the office and within 12 months it is envisaged that you will begin to build a larger team around you to accommodate the expanding business. The Director and Finance Director are therefore looking for a Finance Manager with energy and the appetite to think about a long-term career with the business.
