What a great opportunity to join an established marketing company and work alongside the senior leadership team to control all aspects of their accounts.

There’s variety, autonomy and not to mention the fact you are working for a business with a great reputation and a loyal client base – it has all the ingredients to make this an ideal job for someone.

You will oversee one junior accountant that has been with the business some time so they require very little support or management; and reporting into the Managing Director you will be given the freedom to look at the existing processes and make any improvements or suggestions that you think will help.

The businss is recruting following a re-structire to facilitate their planned expansion; which means it’s a real opportunity for someone to join the business off the back of a successful financial year and help the owners gear up and navigate their next phase of growth.

For any ambitious accountants still on their career journey it will give you the opportunity to operate at a senior level within a business, leading the monthly finance meetings and helping to create business strategies based on the numbers. You will see growth, expansion and ensure the business is at the forefront when it comes to their accounting software and operations.

A full job specification is available however here is a highlight of your responsibilities:

Managing all aspects of the finance function, including financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, P&L and reporting.

Monitoring cash flow, financial performance, and weekly forecasting of the business.

Preparing and presenting accurate and timely financial statements/reports to the Managing Director
